Service Description

This 4-week series of consecutive Thursday afternoon classes in pottery making will teach beginners the fundamentals of pottery wheel-throwing techniques. Students will learn to make the three basic types of wheel-thrown pottery forms including cylinders, bowls, and plates, with final class devoted to glazing & decorating. Ideal for persons with little or no experience in ceramic art. Class fee includes use of studio tools, clay, glazes, and firing. Optional extra practice sessions are available for $40 ea. on Tuesdays from 5-9pm and from Noon to 4 pm on Saturdays. (Online advance reservation for each open studio session is required ... first-come, first-served.) Course Instructor: Polly Beach (Please note: missed classes are not refundable.)

Cancellation Policy

For individual cancellations, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance to receive a credit. (Group bookings for less than 8 people must be cancelled 7 days prior to event for credit.)
